Deregulation, digital inclusion and the role of the state in an emerging internet economy, hosted by a community of young journalists in Derry, Ireland, will take place in Dáil Éireann on October 8.
The programme, called Beyond Media, is being co-produced by Dálige Eoin O’Mahoney and RTE and will feature a panel of speakers including John McGinley and Michael O’Callaghan, and a panel which will be chaired by Irish journalist and author David Murphy.
The event will also feature a roundtable with the Digital Ireland co-founders and members of the media sector, including the former Director General of Ireland’s Public Service Digital Media Services, Dr. David Collins.
The audience of over 100 will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and ask them questions about the programme.
