New Delhi: Google has launched a new mobile app called ‘Google Plus’, which is designed to help people get more connected to their favourite content online.
Google Plus will enable users to find, like, and share their favourite videos and pictures.
The app will also provide a virtual personal assistant and will provide access to various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and Google+.
The app is the brainchild of Sundar Pichai, the head of the search and advertising group, and has been launched with a $10 monthly fee for users.
The app will be available in India by the end of the year and will be rolled out across other markets soon.
Google will be making the app available in English and Hindi and in other languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, and Thai.
The feature will be introduced in India and will make it easier for people to connect with their friends on Google Plus.
The main feature of the app will allow users to see the most liked content from their favourite accounts, as well as other similar content from across the internet.
“We want to give people more of an option to share their own content with others and share with their audience,” said Pichie.
The Google+ app, launched in India, will be launched in the next few months.
In its latest update, the app has added a “New Stories” section that will be accessible from the home screen.
The New Stories section will feature a “Browse New Stories” option that will bring up a series of photos of the content that you are currently reading, as you would with a Google News article.
The feature will also allow users who have a Google+ account to create new stories.
The new feature will let people discover more of the stories that they like from the new feed.
Google is also rolling out a new video editor that will allow for more creative editing.
The editor will be able to add, delete and share videos, images and photos.
Google also plans to offer “shared experiences” for users, where the search giant will let users create and share content on a shared platform such as YouTube, YouTube Music, YouTube Videos, Facebook or Instagram.
Pichie said the company is focused on building an ecosystem of content that people want to share and share on other platforms.
“This will enable us to build the next generation of social media that people love,” he said.
