Three years ago, AMC’s The Walking Dead returned to television after four seasons on AMC, with its seventh season set to air on March 16.
The season ended with the deaths of six main characters and an entire episode that was dedicated to the death of Tyreese (Scott Glenn), Negan (Robert Kirkman), and Rick (Michael Cudlitz) — the series’ most important characters and main characters.
Now, the sixth season of the series will take viewers through its final four seasons and its finale, which is set to be the series finale.
AMC is giving fans the chance to vote on what storylines and characters to see in its final season.
The final episode of the season will be a surprise, but fans will have a chance to see the characters they love in the final four episodes of Season 6, which will air March 16 on AMC.
The show’s final four months will be filled with a number of shocking revelations, with Negan and Rick’s final confrontation and the death at the hands of the Saviors.
Season 6 also marked the return of Maggie (Christina Hendricks) as well as Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Hershel (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
Season 7 will be an unprecedented series finale, but the end of a season has never been a secret, so the fans have been able to vote for what they want.
The finale will be followed by a new season of AMC’s award-winning drama, The Walking Out.
The series finale will not be aired by AMC, but will air on AMC later in the spring, as part of a planned re-launch of the show.
AMC has also announced a host of other changes, including an all-new season of The Walking With Carl Barks, which returns in late 2018.
The new series will star Barks as a veteran of the zombie apocalypse and feature a new ensemble cast led by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
The first two episodes of the new season will air later this year.
AMC also announced the return, and premiere, of The Talking Dead, a new weekly show from AMC that will debut in March 2018.
AMC will also be airing the Emmy-nominated, zombie-themed series, The Blacklist, in 2018, which premieres March 25.
This fall, AMC is also debuting the critically acclaimed new drama series, Better Call Saul, starring Jimmy Smits and Vince Gilligan.
AMC premiered the series, written by Saul Goodman, with the first two seasons of its new drama, Better Place, in August.
Better Place will follow the lives of six young, struggling entrepreneurs who take a stand against the corrupt city of Los Angeles and the corruption that surrounds it.
The shows new season premieres on October 12.
Better Call the Saul and Better Place are two of the most critically acclaimed scripted dramas of the fall season.
AMC’s new season begins on October 11, 2018, with AMC’s premiere of the hit drama series The Killing Season.
The killing season, which stars Anthony Hopkins and is produced by Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker, has won three Emmys.
The Killing season premiels on September 29, 2018.
Following the murder of the popular star of the British comedy comedy, The Office, Andy Samberg will star as the lead in the new drama based on the cult hit television series, Shameless.
Shameless follows the lives and careers of six people who go from the streets of London to the highest office in the world, and is also being directed by Stephen Merchant, the writer behind such critically acclaimed films as The Master, The Last Man on Earth, and The Last of the Mohicans.
The Shameless season premieels on September 28, 2018 at 10:00 p.m. on AMC Networks.
