We’ve seen that Drupal’s ability to scale with a small team has a direct impact on its adoption.
We’ve also seen that when you create a large team, you can easily build a framework around it and leverage the infrastructure and community.
But how does it help with this?
This is where the Internet of Things comes in.
As a company that’s built a platform around IoT and is looking to build on top of it, we want a platform that helps us build a scalable internet that can support millions of devices and people.
This is why we are building Drupal 8.1 to bring the power of the cloud and the power to scale your projects to Drupal.
The platform’s main purpose is to allow for the building of the Drupal-powered IoT ecosystem, as well as the building and distribution of an open source platform.
Building a cloud platform is a relatively new concept, and it is going to take time for it to get adopted.
But we think that with the right team behind it, the power and benefits of cloud will become apparent over time.
For example, we’re already seeing huge adoption of the Docker project on Docker Hub, with a number of companies including Google and Microsoft announcing their intent to take Docker as a base for their cloud services.
The Docker project has already seen a lot of attention in the media over the last year or so, and the future of the platform is already looking bright.
So, we’ll be taking advantage of this as we work towards a platform capable of supporting millions of IoT devices and a diverse ecosystem.
So let’s get started.
